DRP Outreach Street Team

Detroit Recovery Project’s Street Team consists of prevention specialist, case managers, HIV linkage to care navigators, and peer support specialist. The mobile unit is the home base for our syringe service program (SSP) and also works as our mobile HIV/HCV testing unit. The Street Team outreaches throughout the city of Detroit providing services, safe using supplies, testing, hygiene kits, and other essentials as they become available to us.

The outreach team can also be found providing services and testing at events across Wayne County including Motor City Pride, Hotter Than July, Walk and Rally, and various health fairs rasing awareness around substance use disorder and HIV.
