Recovery Programs
Recovery Programs
DRP is a private non-profit corporation dedicated to supporting recovery which strengthens, rebuilds, and empowers individuals, families and communities who are experiencing co-occurring mental illness, and substance use disorders. This is accomplished by ensuring access to integrated networks of effective and culturally competent holistic health services. The Detroit Recovery Project was built upon a strong foundation of recovery support services. Our recovery support services include the following:
- Instrumental Support (assisting with completing forms, setting and completing goals)
- Informational Support (Providing you with needed information and referrals)
- Emotional Support
- Social Support
Our programs are peer led, peer driven and peer ran and range from Life Skills workshops, to GED education and weekly Support Groups. Our peers provide peer-to-peer support, which has been proven to be successful in supporting individuals in sustaining their recovery. These services are available to individuals in all stages and levels of recovery within the metropolitan Detroit area.
