The Recovery Training Institute (RTI) is DRP’s center for education, training, and
certification programs focused on strengthening and supporting the community workforce.
RTI provides a variety of training opportunities designed to address evolving community needs within the behavioral health, mental health, recovery, and community wellness fields.
Our trainings offer a combination of in-person and virtual learning opportunities that support personal growth, professional development, and community impact.
As community needs continue to evolve, RTI plans to expand and introduce additional trainings and workforce development opportunities in the future.

Community Health Workers Training Program
The CHWTP provides the necessary MiCHWA-approved training to become a Community Health Worker (CHW), Health Support Worker, or Community Health Aide.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)© teaches individuals how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults.
